McManus Pubs Partners with VoltShare to Power Up with EV Charging
London, UK – 12th November 2024 – McManus Pubs, a leading pub and hospitality group, has taken a significant step towards a greener future by partnering with VoltShare, a leader in EV charging solutions. The partnership has resulted in the installation of two 22kWh EV chargers at the Barratts Club, marking the first EV charging infrastructure within the McManus Group’s portfolio.
This strategic move aligns with McManus Pubs’ commitment to sustainability and its desire to cater to the growing number of electric vehicle drivers. By offering convenient and accessible EV charging facilities, the group aims to enhance the visitor experience and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Sheng Liu, CEO of VoltShare, commented, “We are delighted to collaborate with McManus Pubs on this exciting pilot scheme. By equipping the Barratts Club with our EV charging solution, we are empowering them to attract a wider range of customers and contribute to a cleaner environment. This pilot project represents a significant milestone in our mission to make EV charging accessible and convenient for all.”
The installation of these new chargers at the Barratts Club is part of a pilot program that will help evaluate the demand for EV charging services within the McManus Group. If successful, the group plans to expand the rollout of EV charging infrastructure to additional venues.
