Offering luxurious holiday cottages in East Devon near Jurassic Coast and South West Coast Path, Higher Wiscombe is located far from any public charging infrastructure.
Problems They Faced
One of the first adopters of EV charging for guests, Higher Wiscombe had seen first hand the tremendous benefits EV charging brought to their self-catering accommodation business. Unfortunately, their free-to-use charging facility was proving to be a major financial burden with rising electric bills. They simply couldn’t do with out it and had to find a solution with payments enabled.

Solution
With their two existing unpaid charging points, VoltShare had replaced them with a single paid charging point, focusing on maximising utilisation for a single unit before further investing in a second one. Higher Wiscombe no longer needed todeal with driver enquiries, manual payments and associated disputes.
